If You See or Receive a Suspicious Package

Remember:
If Evacuation is necessary, ALWAYS evacuate first. When safe and able call College Police at 619-388-6405 and/or 911.
Prioritize Immediate Safety
If a suspicious package or object is discovered clear the area and call 619-388-6405 or 911.
- Secure and leave the area immediately.
- DO NOT call while near a suspicious package or object.
- Give your name, location, and description of the package or object.
- DO NOT handle the package.
- DO NOT turn on or off any radios, cell phones, or electrical switches near the package.
- DO NOT activate fire alarms.
- Document the time and method by which the package/mail arrived.
- DO NOT return to an evacuated building or area until told to do so by an emergency responder/campus official.
